The Pop Century Resort celebrates the last half of the 20th century by decade: 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. It is currently the newest of the value resorts, until the Art of Animation resort opens nearby in 2012. This resort offers 3 pools- Hippy Dippy, Bowling Pin and Computer pool.
It is in the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex area but also near EPCOT, Hollywood Studios and the BoardWalk area.
The central building, Classic Hall, contains the check in area, arcade and a shop/food court area called Everything Pop. There is also a playground and spray area nearby.
Most rooms have 2 double beds and a single sink. Value resorts have access to mini-fridges for a daily fee, as well as wireless internet for a fee.
All transportation around Walt Disney World from this resort is by bus system.
Other value resorts are All-Star Sports, All-Star Music and All-Star Movies. All-Star Music will be featured in another article because of their suites feature.
