Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry Draws 5-Hour Queue at Epic Universe Opening
Universal Epic Universe’s grand opening saw the new Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry attraction immediately hit a five-hour wait time.

At Epic Universe’s grand opening, Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry, a highly anticipated attraction within The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, quickly drew significant queues.
As of 9:12 a.m. on opening day, the Universal Orlando Resort mobile app showed a 300-minute wait (five hours) for Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry. This comes shortly after the park’s 9 a.m. opening to guests, following an 8 a.m. ceremony. In contrast, all other Epic Universe attractions, including the popular Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment, were reporting waits of 30 minutes or less. It remains to be seen if this significant wait time will persist throughout the day, and we’ll provide updates as they become available.
In recent guest previews, a 300-minute wait was observed at the attraction, compounded by guests being sent down the incorrect queue, which extended the actual wait beyond what was advertised.
