It’s almost that time of year! Time for Disney/ABC Television’s “25 Days of Christmas.” Starting December 1, holiday programming will air throughout the Disney/ABC Networks. Festive Programming Will Air on ABC, Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD, and Disney Junior through Christmas Day.
After last year’s successful company-wide “25 Days of Christmas” programming event, Disney/ABC Television will again be the TV destination for all must-see holiday programming to get you into the holiday spirit.
Freeform is the home of your favorite holiday films including “Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas,” “The Santa Clause” and “Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.” The network is bringing extra merriment and spice to this year’s holiday season with two new original films, “No Sleep ‘Til Christmas” and the highly anticipated “Life-Size 2” starring Tyra Banks. Freeform will continue their gift-giving tradition of “Pop Up Santa” with a full 90-minute special showcasing heartfelt gifts bestowed to deserving viewers across the country. Romance will also be in the air this holiday on Freeform with the new installment of “Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings: Holiday Magic,” which features a Mary Poppins-themed wedding extravaganza.
ABC will debut the sixth season of “The Great Christmas Light Fight,” a competition series where families transform their homes into festive wonderlands judged by lifestyle expert Carter Oosterhouse and interior designer Taniya Nayak, and the fourth season of “The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,” hosted by Spice Girl and TV personality Emma Bunton and former NFL star Anthony “Spice” Adams. ABC is also home to original, holiday-themed episodes of comedies “American Housewife,” “black-ish,” “The Conners,” “Fresh Off the Boat,” “The Goldbergs,” “The Kids Are Alright,” “Modern Family,” “Single Parents” and “Speechless,” plus returning specials like “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” and the classic “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” Viewers will once again enjoy star-studded performances during the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration” and iconic entertainer Reba McEntire returns to host “CMA Country Christmas.”
During “25 Days of Christmas,” Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD will feature holiday-themed episodes and movies, including special new episodes of Disney Channel’s newest series “Coop & Cami Ask the World,” along with fan-favorites “DuckTales,” “Bizaardvark,” “Muppet Babies,” “Fancy Nancy” and “Doc McStuffins.” Disney Channel will air “Disney Parks Presents a 25 Days of Christmas Holiday Party,” hosted by Ruby Rose Turner and Dakota Lotus of “Coop & Cami Ask the World.” The holiday special, filmed at various locations around Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California, will feature performances by Asher Angel (Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack”) and Meg Donnelly (Disney Channel Original Movie “ZOMBIES,” ABC’s “American Housewife”), among others, and appearances by Booboo Stewart (Disney’s “Descendants 3”), Kylee Russell (Disney Channel Original Movie “ZOMBIES”), Sadie Stanley (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible”) and Sean Giambrone (Disney Channel Original Movie “Kim Possible,” ABC’s “The Goldbergs”). Holiday-themed episodes of fan-favorite Disney Channel, Disney Junior, and Disney XD series and movies, including special new episodes of “Vampirina” and “Puppy Dog Pals,” will be available from Friday, Nov. 23, through Tuesday, Jan. 1, on DisneyNOW.
