Walt Disney World has announced a series of refurbishments for select resort hotels in 2025, aiming to enhance the guest experience with updated accommodations and refreshed spaces. Here’s what you need to know if you’re planning a stay at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, or Pop Century Resort next year.

Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
Starting in mid-May 2025 and continuing through September, the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge will undergo a refurbishment. During this time, all resort amenities will remain accessible, but guests may notice construction work taking place during daytime hours.
Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside
Beginning in early April 2025 and running until January 2026, guest rooms in the Magnolia Bend section of Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside will be updated. Guests staying in or near this area may see or hear construction activities, though all other areas of the resort will remain open and operational.

Disney’s Pop Century Resort
The beloved Disney’s Pop Century Resort will also receive updates starting in late March 2025, with work scheduled to continue through mid-February 2026. Guest rooms across the resort will be refreshed, and while amenities will still be available, guests should anticipate some construction during daytime hours.
