2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Had Fairy Tale Finishes.

The 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon has been completed at the Walt Disney World Resort this past weekend.  Presented by Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, over 56,000 princesses and princes alike completed the half marathon.  The marathon was a weekend full of memories for those who participated!

The event took off with the Disney Princess 5K with an adventurous 3.1 miles of excitement.  Familias participating in the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon 5K portion celebrated the beautiful la princesa, Elena of Avalor!

The Disney Princess Enchanted 10K was a race worth fighting for with those who participated during the event.  Featuring Mulan, participants were warriors who courageously battled the 6.2-mile course during the 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon event!

The 2019 Disney Princess Half Marathon weekend ended in a Magical way for those who participated in the 13.1-mile course featuring Aurora.  Finishing out the marathon with her first runDisney event win with her fairy-tale ending time of 1:18:30 is first place winner Jackie Pirtle-Hall! Congratulations, Jackie!  Also celebrating a fairy-tale ending is the overall Female Wheelchair Division champion, Bethany Evans, with a posting time of 1:25:13.  Congratulations, Bethany!

However, for those Princesses who “Dream Big”, the 19.3-mile Disney Fairy Tale Challenge over the course of the weekend will make all their dreams come true!
