2018 Year-In-Review: New Treats Debuted at Disneyland Parks

2018 was an amazing year for new sweets, treats, and new dishes at both Disney California Adventure park and Disneyland park.  Mobile order introduced at both Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park making it much more convenient to get your fill of scrumptious food.  Let’s take a look at what was introduced in 2018!

First up, we have the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which took place from March 2, 2018, to April 12, 2018.  This festival featured dishes from all of over the state of California.  This year’s festival takes place from March 1 to April 13, 2019, and I for one can’t wait to see what scrumptious dishes will make their debuts this year!

Next, Pixar Fest (which began on April 13, 2018) featured food based on characters from various Disney•Pixar stories, such as the lovable Mike Wazowski.  This festival also allowed those that attended to get the first peek at the new offerings at Pixar Pier.  As a reminder, Pixar Pier opened in June 2018 at Disney California Adventure park and has new locations where you can find these delicious treats – Adorable Snowman Frosted Treats, Señor Buzz Churros, Jack-Jack Cookie Num Nums, Angry Dogs, Bing Bong’s Sweet Stuff and the Lamplight Lounge.

Who does not love a good churro?  Churro’s are probably one of my favorite snacks and 2018 saw the introduction of some delicious churros!  There was everything from cookies and cream to fruity cereal to pumpkin spice – whatever type of treat your heart desired you could probably find it.

Let’s not forget all the new offerings that were special for the various holiday celebrations that took place at Disney California Adventure park and Disneyland park!  These included the Spoke-y Cone Macaron from Cars Land at Disney California Adventure park and the Candy Cane Mickey Beignet from the Mint Julep Bar at Disneyland park.

Did you get to try any of these offerings during 2018?  What was your favorite?  I can’t wait to see what 2019 brings us, especially with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxies Edge slated to open!
