Individual registration for the Walt Disney World Marathon has sold out, according to runDisney. You can still find a running spot through a charity or a tour group, the individual registration is over.
The 2014 race sold out in just 4 months, which is one month faster than the 2013 race. Almost 13,500 runners will be tackling the course on January 12th. There are three shorter races that are being run that same weekend that have previously sold out. A family 5k on Thursday, a 10k on Friday and the half marathon on Saturday.
Registration for the Dopey Challenge, the option for runners to run all four races, has closed as well.
The only option left to those wishing to partake of running events are the Goofy’s Race and Half Challenge — that’s running 39.3 miles in two days. Also individual registrations can be made for both the marathon and half marathon though charity and tour groups, a list of which can be found on www.runDisney.com.
