Disney Dreamers Academy 2025: A Magical Journey to Chase Big Dreams
Walt Disney World Resort is gearing up to welcome the 2025 class of Disney Dreamers Academy—an extraordinary group of 100 high school students from across the nation who are on a mission to turn their biggest dreams into reality. From developing groundbreaking technology to designing the next great Disney attractions, these young visionaries are poised to change the world.

What Is Disney Dreamers Academy?
Disney Dreamers Academy is a life-changing mentoring program hosted annually at Walt Disney World Resort. Designed to inspire and empower students from diverse backgrounds, this program encourages teens to dream big and equips them with tools to achieve their aspirations. Since its inception in 2008, the academy has supported more than 1,700 students, many of whom have gone on to become leaders, innovators, and mentors in their fields.
“We are thrilled to spark new possibilities and provide these future leaders with the tools they need to chase their dreams,” said Shannon Smith-Conrad, a Walt Disney World Ambassador. “After 18 years of hosting Disney Dreamers Academy, we continue to be inspired by these teens and their incredible accomplishments.”
A Multi-Day Experience of Growth and Magic
From March 26–30, 2025, the selected Disney Dreamers will embark on an all-expenses-paid trip to Walt Disney World, joined by a parent or guardian. Over the course of this immersive experience, they’ll participate in workshops and seminars led by business leaders, Disney executives, celebrities, and educators. These sessions are designed to:
- Explore diverse career paths.
- Develop essential skills like communication, leadership, and networking.
- Build confidence to overcome challenges and seize opportunities.
Beyond these impactful sessions, the students will enjoy the magic of Walt Disney World, including its ever-evolving attractions and entertainment, providing an unforgettable backdrop to their journey of discovery.
A Rigorous Selection Process
The Disney Dreamers are chosen from thousands of applicants who submit essays detailing their personal stories and dreams for the future. The students selected represent a wide range of ambitions, from addressing food insecurity to creating groundbreaking innovations.
