One of the hottest debates surrounding “Solo: A Star Wars Story” has just been given a bit of clarity as the film’s writers Lawrence and John Kasdan have confirmed to various sources including HuffPost that Lando Calrissian is pansexual in the film.
The Kasdans argue that Lando is pansexual which means that he has the capacity to be attracted to all genders or attracted to people regardless of gender. For the latest cinematic release in the Star Wars universe, the iconic role of Lando is played by Daniel Glover
John Kasdan was quoted in HuffPost as giving the following explanation regarding Lando’s sexuality, ” “There’s a fluidity to Donald and Billy Dee’s sexuality. I mean, I would have loved to have gotten a more explicitly LGBT character into this movie. I think it’s time, certainly, for that, and I love the fluidity sort of the spectrum of sexuality that Donald appeals to.”
Kasdan went on to say that Lando doesn’t stick to any rules and that’s what’s “fun” about the character. He follows his heart.
Rumors have been surfacing regarding Lando’s sexuality after fans and critics started seeing screenings of the film earlier in the week and has since become one of the most prominent talking points regarding the film.
