The World of Disney stores located at both Disney Springs in Disney World and Downtown Disney in Disneyland will be re-imagined with renovations starting Mid-February (2018).
A “must see” destination for Disney themed merchandise, both shops will remain open during the phased renovations. The work carried out will include an interior redesign which will offer a dynamic and distinctly Disney retail environment.
During the renovation period, visitors to Disney Springs can also visit the Ever After Jewelry Co. or The Disney Corner (opening in mid-February). Both will carry select merchandise while sections of World of Disney are closed.
At Downtown Disney in California, World of Disney will also remain open. In addition, guests can find Disney-themed merchandise at the recently opened Dream Boutique as well as the Disney Home store opening in February 2018 in the form D-Street location.
As of going to print, Disney has not announced a completion date for the World of Disney renovations. It is suggested that work will continue throughout 2018. Keep following along with Chip and Co. for the latest news and updates regarding this exciting project!
