Walt Disney World Resorts Distributing Pamphlets To Rooms Ahead Of Hurricane Irma

As Hurricane Irma gets closer, Walt Disney World is taking many precautions to ensure the safety of its guests and cast members. Closures of the parks have been announced for both Sunday and Monday as well as Disney Springs. Disney has also made attempts to help future guests make reservation changes without incurring fees. But what about the guests who are currently staying on Disney World property and have decided to wait out the storm?

Disney has begun distributing pamphlets to its onsite resort guests explaining what guests can expect during Hurricane Irma. Guests are reminded to expect heavier than normal lines for dining locations across the resorts and to take advantage of park and Disney Springs offerings before returning back to their resorts. Snacks and bottled beverages are (as always) available for purchase in the theme parks to bring back to guest rooms.

Housekeeping services will most likely be very limited in preparation for Hurricane Irma. Guests can also tune in to Channel 3 on their resort room TV to stay update on Hurricane Irma. In-room TVs will also run complimentary Disney films or guests to enjoy.
