Cinderella is the classic story known and loved by all.  In this version full of beautiful costumes,  Lily James stars as the young Ella whose merchant father remarries following the death of her mother. Eager to support her loving father, Ella welcomes her new stepmother (Cate Blanchett) and her daughters Anastasia (Holliday Grainger) and Drisella (Sophie McShera) into the family home.  But we all know what happens next…or do we?   In theatres March 13, 2015

Monkey Kingdom  coming out April 17, 2015, introduces us to Maya and her family.   Set in the ancient ruins of the jungles of South Asia, DisneyNature takes us to Castle Rock where Maya and her family of blonde-bobbed monkeys live.  With the birth of her son, Kip and problems with neighboring monkeys taking over their home, Maya and her family are forced to work together and find a way to get back their home and like most parents, give her son a good future.

As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Tomorrowland is another one I can’t wait to see.  In theatres  May 22, 2015, this mystery adventure starring Academy Award® winner George Clooney as former boy-genius Frank who is jaded by disillusionment, and Casey (Britt Robertson), a bright, optimistic teen bursting with scientific curiosity.  Together they go off on a danger-filled mission to unearth the secrets of an enigmatic place somewhere in time and space known only as “Tomorrowland.”

Starring Tom Hanks and produced and directed by Steven Spielberg, this untitled Thriller coming out October 16, 2015, is at the top of my list.

The Good Dinosaur  comes out for Thanksgiving on November 25, 2015.  The film  is rumored to be about the adventures of Arlo, an Apatosaurs, and his human friend Spot.  Although we heard there had been some changes made.  The sub story is about a farming community of dinosaurs where all the different species perform their designated jobs.  Triceratops are the bulldozers, Stegosauruses act as mowers while the Apatosaurs take care of the plowing.  Guess we have to wait until next year to meet Arlo and Spot.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens  is the perfect way to end the year of Disney movies on December 18, 2015.  The much-anticipated movie takes us 30 years into the future.   With new characters and many familiar faces, Star War fans, young and old can’t wait for the release.  So many rumors and article about the story line have us wondering exactly will happen to our favorite characters and who does the mysterious lightsaber belong to?   New looks for the Stormtroppers and Villains makes this the movie to see next December.
