Big changes are coming for Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida. Some attractions will be closing to make way for Star Wars Land. Earlier in 2015 it was announced that this was the last year for the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights. The last night to see the lights is January 3rd. It was also recently announced that Pizza Planet will be closed for most of the year for refurbishment.
Other closures coming are the “Stars of Cars” and “Phineas and Ferb” meet-and-greets. The meet-and-greets are located at the back of Streets of America near Mama Melrose and the exit of MuppetVision 3D. January 4th will be the last day to experience them before they close permanently.
Also, the Joffrey’s Coffee stand located next to these two meet-and-greets will cease operation at the end of Jan. 4, 2016, as well.
Will you miss these meet-and-greets? Let me know your thoughts in the comments!

Bummer about the characters though. I figured Phineas and Ferb would be cut soon, but I’m sure they can relocate Cars??
Since we do the meal plan, we usually skip Joffrey’s and hit up Starbucks in stead. The only item I saw on Joffrey’s menu that counted as a snack on the meal plan was double espresso — I tried it once — tasted like mud, but perked me up. LOL. At Starbucks, any drink is included.
I’ll miss the Joffrey’s stand! I like them a lot more than Sbux!
Any word on the Streets of America section itself? Specifically the Once Upon a Time window front/Mr. Gold’s Pawn Shop? My daughter would love to see that on our next trip this year.
