Disney’s My Disney Experience app received a new update today, and it has some pretty awesome features! For starters, with the release, Disney Resort guests utilizing a Disney Dining Plan can now track their dining credits through the app. You will be able to see all remaining credits ( meals and snacks) as well as how many resort mugs you have available. They are broken down by type of credit, with a tally of how many have been issued and how many have been redeemed.
When you log into your My Disney Experience account, scroll to “My Plans” and click on your upcoming resort reservation. This will bring up the details of you vacation package. Listed next to “Choose MagicBands” are two new options “Check Dining Plan” and “View Charges.”
In order to view your dining credits, you must have checked-in at your resort.
Another new and convenient feature, is the ability to track your charges. Under the “View Charges” option, guests may view all charges made to their room, during their visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.
The final feature added with the new update, is something all Annual Passholders will benefit from, The ability to renew your pass right from the app!
I have waited a long time for Disney to release updates like this! These new features will be so convenient while roaming the parks. I don’t know about you, but I am always second guessing how many snack credits I have left and my receipts showing credits somehow always end up in a crumpled mess on the bottom of the diaper bag.
Hopefully the ability to track dining credits through the app means that using credits for Disney’s mobile order is coming in the near future! What do you think about the new update? Share in the comments below!
