Top 5 Downtown Disney Shops at Disneyland Resort

Just like Walt Disney World in Florida, the Disneyland Resort offers an expansive shopping experience with its Downtown Disney District. Among the several stores, some are extra special. In no particular order, the following stores are my personal  favorite five stores to shop at.

Studio Disney 365 –

Studio Disney 365 is an exclusive to Disneyland Resort apparel and accessories store catering to children and tweens. Unlike Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique that focuses on Disney Princesses, this store focuses on popular Disney shows and characters. I have mentioned this store several times in my past articles because it is my oldest daughter’s absolute favorite place in Downtown Disney for its popular “rock star” makeovers. The price is comparative to Bibbity Bobbity Boutique, but the outfit your child receives can be worn far more often. This store isn’t exclusive to girls. There is a wide selection of clothes for boys as well.

WonderGround Gallery –

Another store exclusive to Disneyland Resort, WonderGround is a gallery filled with Disney inspired art by some of today’s most well-known artists. Featured artists are always changing and revolving in WounderGround, so with each Downtown Disney trip, you often see new artists and pieces. During our last visit, we were excited to see that J. Scott Campbell was the featured artist, and we were able to pick up the following piece from his Good vs Evil collection. No visit of ours is complete without spending a ton of money at a visit to this store.

Disney Vault 28-

Are you a Disney Dooney & Burke junkie like I am? Disney Vault 28 is where you can find these popular bags in addition to other Disney inspired fashion and accessories by designer labels including Harvey’s and Betsy Johnson.

Disney’s Pin Traders –

If you collect Disney pins, this large kiosk has one of the largest selections on the resort, and you don’t have to go into a separate store to get to them. It’s also right next to the Downtown monorail station, so it’s super easy to access should you want to make a quick stop while you’re enjoying your day at the parks.

World of Disney –

With many Disney Stores across the country closing shop, for most people, this is the best one-stop-shop for all of your Disney shopping. The store, itself is darn near the same size as the Target down the street. World of Disney carries everything from toys to clothes to art to housewares, and so on.

There are plenty of other stores in Downtown Disney District at the Disneyland Resort, what are your favorites? Do you agree with my choices? Let me know!
