Southwest Airlines and Disneyworld Resort Check In

According to Mouseplanet:

It looks like Southwest Airlines is finally being accepted into the fold of the Resort Check-In component of Disney’s Magical Express. Beginning next month, Disney World Resort guests flying with SWA will be able to check their luggage at their resort.

This program has been in test mode at Pop Century for some time now. It appears to coming online for all but Old Key West and Caribbean Beach Resort. These two are in the midst of expanding luggage facilities and will, hopefully, come aboard soon.

Which is great news for us since we like to fly SW Airlines out of Raleigh!

  1. Oh finally! We nearly always fly Southwest to/from Baltimore and I did not realize just how convenient the resort check-in was until a recent trip when we took Air Tran home….and discovered how very awesome it is to check your luggage in at the resort, then go spend the day at the parks, jump on the ME bus to the airport, no worries about check in! It was very nice. This is a welcome addition!
