As we previously reported, Animal Kingdom added additional Extra Magic Hours for Walt Disney World Resort Guests and participating Walt Disney World Area Resorts beginning in April and lasting through June 30. Basically, the park has been opening at either 7 am or 8 am for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or one of the select Walt Disney World Area Resorts. Guests taking advantage of these bonus Extra Magic Hours were allowed access to such attractions as Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest, and several others prior to the park opening to Guests who were not staying at a Walt Disney World Resort.
Orlando Theme Park News is reporting that beginning today, three attractions that were available for these bonus Extra Magic Hours will no longer be available for Guests to enjoy prior to the park’s official opening time:
- Kilimanjaro Safaris
- It’s Tough to be a Bug!
- Gorilla Falls Expedition Trail
However, every Monday and Saturday in June, when Animal Kingdom was scheduled to have regular Extra Magic Hours, the three attractions above will be open for Guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort or participating Walt Disney World Area Resort.
