Update: The Richard Petty Driving Experience and the Exotic Driving Experience at Disney World will close for good on August 9, 2015. That is the last day that you can make a reservation, so if you have always wanted to do it but never have now is the time! The final ride on Aug. 9 will end with a charity ride with Give Kids the World. They are going to auction off the last ride. The proceeds of that auction will go to Give Kids the World. No word yet on what transportation improvements are coming, but as soon as we know you will know!
Reports are coming in that this June Disney will be closing the Richard Petty Driving Experience and the Exotic Driving Experience at Walt Disney World. The official word from Disney on what they plan on using the space for is Transportation Improvements. Does this mean Disney is expanding the parking lot for the Magic Kingdom? or will we see another Bus terminal of some sort?
I for one think they might be building a second Transportation and Ticket center for Monorails that will run between Hollywood Studios and the Animal Kingdom. You never know…
I want to hear what you think about this latest closure. Did you ever get a chance to try it out? Tell us your thoughts in the comment box below.

NOOOOOOO!!!!!! I was hoping to do the Exotic Driving Experience again…..driving the Lamborghini was one of the best things I have ever done in my life! They CAN’T close it!!!!
We are doing it for the first time in June. My son, 15, is extatic!!
Nooooo……. We have been saving up for the King’s Experience for my husband and I was doing a ride along and this has been something we have been looking forward to for several years. Sadly, our trip isn’t until after they close. My husband does not go to theme parks so this was the thing he most wanted to do at WDW. Yes, I’m very disappointed.
