Reese Witherspoon will be earning her fairy wings in the all new live action Tink Movie. Reese will not only be starring in the film but will also produce alongside Bruna Papandrea, her partner at the production banner, Pacific Standard. Victoria Strouse, who wrote the script for the much anticipated Finding Dory, will be penning the Tink script.
Although still too early for details, there is talk, the film will bring us a new perspective about Tink and some of our favorite fairies. One difference between Tink and the recently released live action films will be the budget. At this time, Tink is stuck into the modest to midrange budget.
Tink first came on the scene in 1953 and has become a household name and one of Disney’s most important characters in the Disney Fairies Series. Her original character as a jealous, tempermental fairy who is in love with Peter Pan, she has evolved into a whole new character complete with voice and a confidence to be her own self.
