Pop Century Ups Their Dessert Game With Traditional Tasty Treats

One of the most important things about visiting the Walt Disney World Resort is Dessert.  The Disney Chefs never fail to disappoint with unique and creative sweets.  During a recent visit we were happy to discover that Pop Century has upped their dessert game with some traditionally tasty treats.

One of the toughest daily decisions you will need to make, during your visit to Walt Disney World,  is not what FastPass ride to choose first, but which dessert shall I have with my meals?  Dessert options are plentiful at Pop Century Resort.  The items in the Fresh Baked Goods section can be counted as a Snack Credit under the Disney Dining Plan as well.

Cupcakes seem to be incredibly popular at the Walt Disney World Resort.  You can find Seasonal favorites such as the traditional cupcake with red, white and blue sprinkles in honor of the 4th of July.  And you are almost certain to find a Mickey-Ears Cupcake!  But how about a Specialty Whoopie Pie Cupcake such as Bananas Foster, Chocolate Mousse, Red Velvet, or Chocolate Chip Chocolate?

If you are not a fan of the cupcake never fear!  You can have pie instead.  We were very surprised to see that they are trying out a mini Pumpkin Pie and mini Pecan Pie in July.  The portion size on these is excellent and are sure to be a big hit when the Autumn Season is upon us.  Other pie offerings were apple, cherry and blueberry.  While pie does make us think of Fall, we think this is a great option for those of us who really do not care for cake.  These mini pies are shaped more like a tart and we love the portion size of these Pop Century Dessert options.

Still don’t see anything you like?  Then you cannot go wrong with one of the true and steady Pop Century Desserts such as the S’Mores Brownie Deluxe, Tie-dyed Cheesecake or Pineapple Upside Down Cake.

Whether you are staying at the Resort, or not, you can stop by Everything Pop Food Court for a bite to eat.  You will definitely find it difficult to pick just one Pop Century Dessert from the abundance of choices on offer.  Since we all know calories do not count while vacationing at Walt Disney World, you can have your cake and eat it too.  We were very pleased to see that Pop Century has upped their dessert game with traditional tasty treats.  When you add the Pop Century Dessert options to the massive resort room refurbishment going on, Pop Century will quickly become the place to stay, or to enjoy a meal and walk the grounds, during your next visit to the Walt Disney World Resort.

What do you think of these traditional Pop Century Dessert choices? Please leave your comments in the box below.
