Maharajah Jungle Trek

Maharajah Jungle Trek

The Maharaja Jungle Trek® is a beautiful walking trail that will lead you past some of the creatures that call Disney’s Animal Kingdom home. Take your time to really learn about the inhabitants while enjoying the phenomenal scenery.  You will find these trails in Asia at the Animal Kingdom. Keep your eyes out for breathtaking animals and hidden Mickeys as you make your way through the beautiful walk.

  •  Since this is a walk-at-your-own-pace trail you can take your time and avoid crowds as you wish while exploring the trails here.
  • This is your chance to see some very exotic animals up close!  There are several female tigers, gibbons, komodo dragons, fruit bats, flying foxes, and more!
  • There are many areas in the Maharaja Jungle Trek that allow for some fabulous photo opportunities.  It’s a fun area to pose your family with exotic animals and plant life.
  • The trails are stroller, wheelchair, and ECV friendly.  You can walk at your own pace and enjoy everything!

If you want a good view of the tigers, visit them either first thing in the morning, or after 4 pm.  They are most active at these times.  You will find a Bird Identification Sheet as you enter the aviary, which could prove to be helpful on your trek.

Quick Tip:  The Maharaja Jungle Trek is located very close to Kali River Rapids.  If you have secured a FastPass for Kali River Rapids, this is a great place to wait it out.

Overall, we give this attraction a “B”.
