Flights of Wonder is a stage show where you can see over 20 species of birds as they represent all the winged wonders of our world! The show changes based on the mood of the “performers” and has been known to feature everything from how birds hunt, to all sorts of amazing tricks- which we won’t list as to leave out any spoilers. This is a high-flying fun adventure of a show that is something everyone in your family will enjoy.
- The show is approximately 20 minutes long and can be found listed on the Times Guide daily. Be sure to check it, as the show could be cancelled for inclement weather.
- As with most any show you should plan to get here early, about 15 minutes should be plenty.
- The show is fun, yet educational. You’ll learn about conservation, as well as different species of birds.
- There is no height requirement, and guests in wheelchairs or ECVs may remain in them for the show.
At the end of the show, don’t make a dash for the exit. Sometimes the performers will bring the birds out so guests can have an up close and personal look at them. This could make for some great photo opportunities!
Quick Tip: For best viewing of the show, try to sit as close to the stage as possible.
Overall, we give Flights of Wonder an “A”.

Can’t wait! I’ve never seen Animal Kingdom.
I really really really LOVE this show! i always tell everyone that if you do nothing else at Animal Kingdom to do this show. I usually go more than once since they use different birds every show.
This show seems to be missed by a lot of visitors in the huge vastness that is AK. The show is a nice, short break from walking around and it is rather entertaining. You get to see several different types of birds and the animal trainers make it interesting with some of the tricks and audience participation.
