Finding Nemo-The Musical

Finding Nemo-The Musical

Located in DinoLand, USA, Finding Nemo – The Musical is an excellent show that opened its doors on January 2, 2007 to rave reviews. This is a Broadway style show that will dazzle every member of your touring group! This is the first “non musical” Disney/Pixar movie to be transformed into musical style.  The show takes place in the Theatre in the Wild which holds up to 1500 guests.  You will see Nemo and friends come alive as costumed puppeteers swim across the stage. There are unique songs in this show that were inspired by lines in the movie such as, “Fish are Friends, not Food,” and “Go with the Flow.” Expect to arrive about 30 minutes early for this 30 minute show and check your times guide for showings. The show lasts about 30 minutes, and typically performs on the hour.  You can also make a dining reservation for lunch at Tusker House, an in turn this can reserve you a spot for the afternoon showing of Finding Nemo-the Musical.  That’s a great idea if you are on a tight touring schedule, or if you want to avoid waiting in a long line for a seat.

Quick Tip:  When photographing Finding Nemo-the Musical, use the sport or action setting on your camera.  This will get you some great photos!

Overall, we give Finding Nemo-the Musical an “A+”.

  1. This was my first Disney live action show. I absolutely love it! The costumes (especially Mr Ray) and scenery are beautiful. It is what I would expect from a broadway type show, but much shorter. My daughter loved it her first time at age 3 (and of course still does). My son, at 19 months, was not interested because you need to be in your seat a little early. I would say 2.5 and up is a good age. Cannot wait to go back this year when he IS old enough to enjoy.
