Overlooking the gardens, grounds, and pool the Grand Floridian Cafe offers decent priced meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The light and airy atmosphere is reminiscent of Magic Kingdom’s Crystal Palace with the natural lighting and Victorian theme. At the Grand Floridian Cafe, you’ll enjoy a table service meal for any of your three meals of the day. All items on their menu are a la carte, and this is not a buffet restaurant. You’ll find Mickey waffles, fruit and yogurt, crab cakes, pastas, salads, and sandwiches. You can find their full menu HERE.
The Grand Floridian Cafe is on the Disney Dining Plan, and will cost you one table service credit per member of your party. The Grand Floridian Cafe is very family friendly, and provides a fun way to experience the Grand Floridian Resort. After your meal, walk the beautiful grounds, enjoy the lobby piano player, or take advantage of some beautiful photo opportunities.
Overall, we give the Grand Floridian Cafe an “A”.
We had a reservation here at the Grand Floridian Cafe on New Year’s Eve. The service was very good. The food was sparse though. Two of us had the pork chops which were very good and very tender. However, two also had shrimp with pasta and it was very strong tasting. We didn’t eat the pasta.
