The newly reimagined Pixar Pier officially opened today at Disney California Adventure Park. Take a look at some of the excitement happening at Disneyland as well as some highlights of the Pier itself!
Upon entering Pixar Pier under the marquee, guests are finding tons of Pixar inspired excitement. The Lamplight Lounge, an amazing new place for great eats, and Knick’s Knacks, your one stop shop for all things Pixar, are both found right inside.
Pixar characters are all in attendance today for meet and greets with guests. Flik and Princess Atta from A Bug’s Life, along with Jessie and Woody from Toy Story can be found along the Pier.
Toy Story Midway Mania! is located at Toy Story Boardwalk, adjacent to Incredibles Park (where you’ll find the Incredicoaster). The other neighborhoods of Pixar Pier are the Pixar Promenade, featuring the Pixar Pal-A-Round, and the Inside Out Headquarters that will be home to the new Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, set to debut next year.
Opening day has certainly brought the crowds, as guests from all over have been waiting for Pixar Pier for some time now.
Stand by lines for the Incredicoaster and Toy Story Midway Mania! are quite lengthy and guests should expect this to remain the same for months to come. FastPasses will be golden!
