Paul Giamatti Joins the Cast of Disney’s Jungle Cruise

Paul Giamatti, winner of multiple Golden Globes and Oscar nominee has finalized a deal to join Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt in the Disney film ‘Jungle Cruise. This adventure movie get its inspiration from the popular and iconic Disney theme park ride. Paul Giamatti has also worked with Dwayne Johnson in the blockbuster hit San Andreas.

Giamatti is set to play a crusty harbormaster. Johnson will play a boat captain who takes his sister (Blunt) and her brother (Whitehall) on a mission to find a tree believed to possess healing powers. Wild animals and a competing German expedition figure are to come into play as well.

Giamatti currently stars on Showtime’s Wall Street drama Billions, now in its third season.

The filming is supposed to start later this month and continue through the summer.
