Memorial Weekend started the newest food-craze at Disneyland Resort….Groot Bread. To coincide with the opening of “Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission : Breakout!“, Disney California Adventure introduced a whole menu of Marvel-themed food. The most popular by far was the Groot shaped sourdough loaves, selling out within hours of becoming available. Take a look at some of these great photo ops!
Groot’s Head is made of black olives for his eyes and jalapeno-cheddar hair and is baked on-site at the Boudin Bakery in Disney California Adventure. Groot Head Bread can be purchased at Fairfax Market in Hollywoodland and Cosmic Canteen.
