If you were wanting to participate in the Nacho Rio Grande Challenge at Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe in the Magic Kingdom, your days are limited! The “secret menu challenge” will no longer be offered after September 30.
The Nacho Rio Grande Challenge consists of over 10lbs of chicken and beef on top of a mound of tortilla chips with all the traditional nacho fixings. Unlimited beverages are also included, which is good because you are going to need them to wash down all of that deliciousness! The challenge states it is the perfect size for six to eight people but if you bring a few others along, there still should be enough food to go around!
In addition to the food, you are treated like a true VIP. Cast Members decked out in special cowboy hats escort you back to a reserved VIP table set with pioneer-style tin plates and checkered napkins. Once seated the fun begins as nearly every cast member joins in a parade to your table to cheer you on, cowbells and all! Those braving the challenge also get a sombrero, a sheriffs badge, and a challenge certificate.
Guests can expect a new secret menu item at Pecos Bill beginning on October 1. Keep following along with us to learn what the next secret menu item will be. Maybe a taco challenge? We will have to wait and see!
