Disney and Dolby’s theatrical collaboration has extended as 20 new Disney films have been added to the list of movies to be shown in Dolby cinemas.
These films include both animated and live-action titles from Disney, Lucasfilm, Marvel Studios, Pixar, and Walt Disney Animation Studios.
If you haven’t experienced a movie in a Dolby Cinema, allow me to give you a little breakdown. Dolby theatres incorporate the “best of the best” when it comes to imaging and audio, which allows for your movie viewing to be more of an immersive experience. Dual laser projection allows for brighter, sharper and better-contrasted viewings. The audio in Dolby cinemas is crystal clear and provides depth and clarity from specially placed speakers pulling viewers into the movie. In addition, many of the cinemas offer ergonomically designed, adjustable seating which can be reserved in advance. This way, you are not stuck wandering around a dark theatre searching for seats.
