Last weekend Mickey was busting a groove at the Chip and Co house in celebration of probably one of the hottest items of this Holiday Season! Fisher Price was gracious enough to send out our very own Master Moves Mickey to test out and see what some of the neighborhood kids thought of this very cool toy.
Let me start off by saying I had Master Moves Mickey for about a week now and I can’t tell you how many times both of my girls begged me to take him out of the box, but I was determined not to do it till we had our House Party. So having waited a week we cracked open the box and took Mickey out for a spin.
This toy is unlike anything I have ever seen. Last year we got the girls Rock Star Mickey to try out and while they loved it, Master Moves Mickey is leaps and bounds over what they created last year. Mickey is a lot more fluid and able to do a perfect handstand and even do twists and turns while on his head. Everyone at the party thought that was the coolest thing they have ever seen!
He dances, he sings, he can even tell when we has fallen off the table or if someone has picked him up. Mickey Mouse dances to a funky beat as he combines over fifteen different dance moves into his own original dance combinations. All you have to do is press his nose to hear original tracks and funky beats as Mickey does “The Windmill”, “The Mouska Mix”, “The Spin Cycle”, “The Handstand” and the rest of his cool Mouska-moves!
I had a wide age group from 20 months to 8 years old and all the kids loved playing with Mickey. His songs were easy to learn, and warning for parents they will get stuck in your head! Overall the only issue we had was we had to keep squeezing his nose to play with him. I wonder if an on/off button might be better than getting one song at a time out of him. All in all it’s not a horrible thing to have to squeeze his nose to play with him.
All of the neighborhood kids give Master Moves Mickey 2 Big Thumbs up! Of course having a little something to take home always helps(see picture). You will want to run out and pick this up early as this item is going to be one of the Top 3 gifts this holiday season in my opinion.
