Disney’s World’s My Magic+ Magicbands will now be used for entry in the parks for EMH (extra magic hours).Starting yesterday Magicbands will be scanned to provide proof of your EMH status.
Your band will be scanned by a cast member outside of the park entrance to prove your EMH status. Once you have been cleared you will proceed to the normal park entrance and use your Magicband to enter like usual.
If you are using an RFID Key to the World card, you will follow the same procedure as if you had a Magicband.
It is said that you will have to follow this procedure only if you are attending morning extra magic hours.
Guests staying at the Swan and Dolphin, Shades of Green, or any of the EMH eligible hotels on Plaza Blvd can continue to enter using their hotel ID cards as proof.

Love it!! No more fumbling around my bags for my key card. I think it’s great
I agree. What would be the drawback, if any?
It’s no different than using your Key to the world to get in Early. I like this.
