Director J.J. Abrams and Lucasfilm have just revealed the official character names of some of the new faces to be seen in “Star Wars: The Force Awakens.  

The vintage sports type trading card look first published in Entertainment Weekly introduces us to the new characters below.

 Oscar Isaac’s character, “Poe Dameron” is next.

Daisy Ridley’s character,”Rey,” below looks like she can take care of business with the best of them.

 And finally “Finn”  played by John Boyega.

“The Force Awakens” is coming to theatres,  Dec. 18, 2015, and along with the stars above includes, newbies – Boyega, Ridley, Isaac, Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow, Lupita Nyong’o and Gwendoline Christie.  While the regulars – Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, Kenny Baker and Warwick Davis, are back for more.
