We are just over two months away from the opening of Toy Story Land! That means the 60-day FastPass window for Guests visiting Disney World and Toy Story Land on June 30 and beyond is just weeks away from opening!
As a Travel Agent, one of the most popular questions I have received recently is how will the opening of Toy Story Land change the FastPass tiers at Hollywood Studios. Per online sources, we think we have the answer for you!
If you remember, earlier this year, Disney announced they would be offering the option to purchase “Signature Services” for Club Level Guests. Part of these Signature Services was the ability to select FastPasses 90 days in advance instead of the 60 for other Guests staying at a Disney World Resort. Since we are inside of the 90 days to the opening of Toy Story Land, some of the Club Level Guests have already selected their FastPasses such as “MrInfinity” on DisBoards. Per his post and other online sources this is how the tiers will look once FastPasses open for everyone:
Tier 1
- Slinky Dog Dash Coaster
- Alien Swirling Saucers
- Toy Story Mania
Tier 2
- Star Tours: The Adventures Continue
- Voyage of the Little Mermaid
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror
- For the First Time in Forever: Frozen Sing-Along
- Disney Jr. – Live on Stage
- Rock n’ Rollercoaster
- Beauty and the Beast – Live on Stage
- Fantasmic!
- Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular
- MuppetVision 3D
If you are familiar with the current Hollywood Studios FastPass tiers, you will notice that all the new Toy Story Land rides will be in Tier 1 along with Toy Story Mania. Previous experiences that were in Tier 1 such as Rock n’ Rollercoaster and Fantasmic! have dropped to Tier 2. As a side note, we are reporting that FastPasses for the existing Toy Story Mania will not be issued until Toy Story Land opens in June.
If you are not familiar with the FastPass tier system, Guests are allowed to select one option from Tier 1 and two options from Tier 2 per each day of their visit. Animal Kingdom and Epcot also use the tier system for FastPasses while the Magic Kingdom does not.
