Celebrate Lunar New Year at Disney's California Adventure

Celebrate the Year of the Horse and ring in a magical Lunar New Year, with a celebration, January 31 – February 2, at Disney California Adventure! Every day, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m., Paradise Garden will transform and come to life with a tribute to the traditions and family celebrations of the Chinese, Korean and Vietnamese cultures.

There will be a lot of entertainment like a Chinese dragon dance troupe, lion dancers and other dance groups which will join the Disney characters in Paradise Garden. Guests will have a chance to make paper lanterns and discover their Zodiac animals and more.

You can also get your hands on a Happy Lunar New Year Celebration t-shirt, featuring the artwork above. Guests also buy red envelopes featuring this artwork, that can be used for the Lunar New Year gift-giving tradition.
