Listen up, parents! Your kids’ favorite Disney apps are going away. But, have no fear! They all are being combined on one new app called “Disney Now.”
If you’re like me, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Puppy Dog Pals, and all of the Disney Jr. app is vital to the success of taking my children out in public and getting things done around the house. (I have no shame!) In addition to the “Disney Jr.” content being added to the “Disney Now” app, material from the following stations will also be included:
- Disney Channel
- Disney XD
- Radio Disney
The “Disney XD” app already shut down and transferred its content to “Disney Now” earlier this month. The “Disney Jr.” app will shut down for good on February 15.
The “Disney Now” app will allow parents to customize profiles for family members to ensure that the youngest children are watching age-appropriate material and not some of the programs geared towards older children.
In addition to the “Disney Now” app being available on your Apple and Android Smart Phone, you will also be able to stream your favorite Disney shows on the following platforms:
- Roku
- Kindle
- Apple TV
