Next week the Disney Fantasy embarks on the first its extended cruise itineraries. Two of these special sailings will happen this summer with the third scheduled for next summer. These ten and eleven day itineraries will set off from Port Canaveral to explore exciting destinations like Aruba, Curaçao, Barbados, Martinique, St. Kitts and Tortola.

Today I’m going to focus on the amazing port excursions you can experience in Aruba! This beautiful country, located about 18 miles north of Venezuela, is home to white-sand beaches, sunny skies and stunning views. Here are just a few fun ways your family can enjoy this amazing country.

Aruba De Palm Island

De Palm Island Beach and Snorkeling – Who wants to run away to a private island? De Palm is Aruba’s only all-inclusive destination. Guests will take a short ferry ride to the island were they will be able to enjoy snorkeling, beach volleyball, water slides and more.  A lunch buffet, open bar, lounge chairs, freshwater showers and snorkeling equipment are all included in this colorful resort island getaway.

Aruba North Coast Adventure

4 x 4 North Coast Adventure and Beach Break – Looking for something a little more exciting? This off-road adventure will take you to Black Stone Beach, Ayo Rock Formations, the Natural Bridge and much more. With destinations like Bushiribana Gold Mill Ruins, Alto Vista Chapel, the California Lighthouse and an ostrich farm, it’s the perfect way to explore the the rugged natural beauty of the the island. At the end of the tour you’ll enjoy the white sand of Arashi Beach where you can swim, snorkel or just relax.

Catamaran Sailing and Snorkeling – This adventure will take you to Aruba’s west coast to enjoy two fantastic snorkeling locations. You’ll enjoy the colorful fish swimming all around you at the reef off of Boca Catalina Beach and the famous Antilla shipwreck that sunk during World War II. After you’re finished snorkeling the boat will take you back to the pier past some amazing views of Aruba’s coastline.
