Recently we’ve discussed the new Dooney & Bourke items coming to Disney Parks this summer. Today Disney Parks Blog announced a release party that will be on Saturday, July 23 for the new items. You can attend at Cherry Tree Lane inside the Marketplace Co-Op at Disney Springs.
At this release party, Disney will launch two new collections including handbags inspired by the classic Disney Parks attraction“it’s a small world.” You will find four silhouettes in this collection. They include a Shopper Tote, a Pouchette, a Wallet and a Wristlet. You’ll be sure to find a style to your liking. Even though I’ve always been #TeamHauntedMansion I must say the “It’s a Small World” bags are some of my favorite Dooneys ever released. The second collection, is called “Lovebirds,” and will include a Shopper Tote and a Letter Carrier. The “Lovebirds” collection is very classic, and traditional, Richly colored warm brown leather with heartfelt designs of Mickey & Minnie, with adorable accents.
One of the most anticipated products, is the four limited edition retail MagicBands. These are embellished with Dooney & Bourke-inspired designs. Each MagicBand will have an edition size of 1,500. You will also get a specially designed slider with the Dooney & Bourke logo. The MagicBands will be packaged in decorative boxes.
Guests attending will also get the opportunity to meet Ian Ray, Creative Director for Dooney & Bourke. He will be appearing at Cherry Tree Lane from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. that day.
For guests at Disneyland Resort, look for the “it’s a small world” and the “Lovebirds” collections in select merchandise locations after this event.
