Disney's Playlist adds The Lion King Cast's newest release "Best Day of My Life"

Disney’s Playlist adds the new video of the The Lion King on Broadway cast performing their newest release “Best Day of My Life”. Disney.com’s music blog, and the cast teamed up to create the latest amazing acoustic cover with a little Hakuna Matata mashup towards the end for a true Lion King experience!

The video was created as a part of the blog’s Playlist Sessions series, and includes acoustic performances from leading artists and stars Aaron Nelson who plays Simba, Nteliseng Nkhela who plays Rafiki, along with Mduduzi Madela, Kyle Lamar Mitchell, S’bu Ngema, Rema Webb, Sindisiwe Nxumalo, Lindiwe Dlamini, and Derrick Davis from the ensemble.

The Playlist Sessions series which includes last week’s release of “The Lion Sleeps Tonight” is destined to become a top view by Disney fans – young and old.
