Monkey Kingdom

DisneyNature’s newest feature film “Monkey Kingdom” introduces us to Maya and her family.  Set in the ancient ruins of the jungles of South Asia, DisneyNature takes us to Castle Rock where Maya and her family of blonde-bobbed monkeys live.  With the birth of her son, Kip and problems with neighboring monkeys taking over their home, Maya and her family are forced to work together and find a way to get back their home and like most parents, give her son a good future.

Directed  by Mark Linfield and co-directed by Alastair Fothergil, “Monkey Kingdom” also includes langur monkeys, predatory leopards,  monitor lizards and a mischevious mongoose.  With music by award winning composer Harry Gregson-Williamss, Maya and the rest of the colorful characters come to a theatre near you on April 17, 2015.

Watch “Monkey Kingdom” during its opening week (April 17 to 23, 2015) and Disneynature will make a donation for every ticket sold to Conservation International to help protect monkeys and other endangered species.
