As an Orlando local, I use the My Disney Experience app on a daily basis. It is the perfect way to take your Disney World vacation planning to fit your actual vacation. Enjoy a little more information about the My Disney Experience App.
Here are my 5 favorite reasons to use the My Disney Experience App:
#5 Book Dining Reservations: Booking even a simple dining reservation by phone can take over 30 minutes with Disney Dining. They always ask a bunch of questions, before they even check on availability. Instead, hop on the My Disney Experience app and search for your favorite dining. As an Orlando local, I use this technique to book dining reservations all of the time!
#4 Park Hours: On a regular basis, we will be at Epcot and decide we want to head over to Magic Kingdom or Disney’s Hollywood Studios. We can always find a Cast Member to find us the info OR I can quickly hop on the My Disney Experience to search the park hours. It just takes minutes!
#3 Check on Wait Times: You can quickly hop on the My Disney Experience app to check wait times at the parks. If you just got off Space Mountain and want to hit Thunder Mountain, you can hop on the my Disney Experience app to see the wait time.
#2 Change a FastPass+ Time: This is one of my favorites with the My Disney Experience. Just because you got a set time for a ride or attraction, it does not mean you have to stick to it. You can hop on the My Disney Experience app and change the time. As a local, I got into this process all of the time to schedule my FastPass+ reservations to go one hour after the other. That way, I do not have a lot of down time between rides.
#1 Book Your FastPass+ Reservations: As I mentioned in the video, I love this part of the app. Most people book all of your FastPass+ reservations for your whole stay at home. What if you decide you are enjoying the resort and do not want to leave the pool? You can just hop on the My Disney Experience app and update your reservations, right from the pool.

That is weird – not sure why that is happening. When I switch back and forth between my computer and my Iphone, all of my details are there
I started using My Disney Experience on my laptop with the Firefox browser. When I tried accessing it through a Chrome browser or Android phone it won’t let me connect to my reservations already logged in. Why would it block me? I need to figure this out before my vacation!
