Starting now through June 30th select guests that are staying at The Grand Floridian Resort, The Polynesian Village Resort, or The Contemporary Resort have been, or will be, asked to take part in a dining test. This dining test will provide direct transportation to other resort hotel signature restaurants.
If you are staying, or will be, staying the resorts mentioned above you are eligible to take part in the test. However, not everyone can participate. Only pre-selected guests will be be asked to participate. Disney never reveals how they pick their test subjects. I assume it is completely random.
A few signature dining locations are taking part in this test:
- Artist Point at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
- Jiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Flying Fish at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort.
If you take part in the testing you will get:
- Complimentary round-trip taxi vouchers that will be delivered to your room when you arrive.
This will help Disney to better understand your interest in dining at a different resort. If the test goes well then the internal transportation system may get a few little changes in the upcoming future.
What do you think?
Wishing you Faith, Trust, and Pixie Dust

This is a great idea! I have always wished Disney would have a service like this. I have always planned my park around the reservations I had at a resort restaurant, and this would allow much more flexibility. We could also have the luxury of going back to our resort to get dressed up for dinner! Well done, Disney!
Yes, please. This would be most welcome. The meals are typically north of $100/couple at many of these restaurants. My wife and I typically get dressed nicely to go these restaurants. Taking the standard Disney transportation, such as the buses, kind of away from the magic a bit. We typically eat at at least one of the signature style restaurants on each trip, so I am very excited about this.
