Disney Channel greenlights its first ever U.K production television movie slated to air in over 160 countries this fall.
A four part television movie named Evermoor chronicles the life of Tara Bailey a young girl who has to leave everything she’s ever known to move to England when her mother remarries. Along with her brother Jake and her step-siblings Seb and Bella she must readjust to a brand new environment with some creepy undertones. When creepy goes to a whole new level Tara and her step brother Seb must unite to save their new home and their new life.
The project headliners are Tim Compton and Diane Whitley, who both worked on House of Anubis, with the script written by Bede Blake (Strange Hill High). The executive producers are Rebecca Hodgson (Good Cop, Stolen) and Compton.
This is the first time an independent company has been used to make a full scale production slated to premiere all over the world. Claire Poyser, joint managing director for Lime Pictures, said Lime is “delighted to be the first independent production company in the U.K. to work with Disney.
