Not much on the gossip front this week however I did notice something Chimp posted yesterday you might want to take a look at. The Disney World Refurbishment Schedule for September 2012 is showing some interesting closures. After a lil investigating I found out some interesting news for all you Country Bear fans out there…
The Country Bear Jamboree is scheduled to be closing for a lengthy refurbishment from August 22 but will re-open on October 18 2012. So do not fret too much as your good ol’ dose of bears performing country music is coming back and I am sure it will be better than ever.

I am honestly confused as to why this is even still at Disney. Does it really get enough visitors to warrant a refurbishment?
Years ago they talked about closing this attraction for good and it was refurbished then also. I haven’t visited this attraction for some time. Are the shows full? Or is it like seeing Muppets 3D where for the most part the theater is about 1/2 full?
I’ve always loved the Country Bear Jamboree, but those bears have been in need of some work for quite awhile. I hope they don’t change the show too much, but still give the stars a much needed facelift.
I like the Country Bear Jamboree. It’s a great place to put your brain in park and sit in air conditioning for a while.
