Guests staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will need to allow a little extra time for bus transportation to Disney’s Blizzard Beach. Bus transportation from the resort to Blizzard Beach has recently been discontinued. Guests staying at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge will now need to catch a bus to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Park and then take a transfer bus to Blizzard Beach.
There are now only four resorts left providing transportation directly to Blizzard Beach The remaining resorts offering bus transportation are Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort and the Disney’s All-Star Music, Movies and Sports Resorts.

Im not quite sure why this has happened? I do know that the bus from Old Key west used to make a detour to Blizzard Beach on its way to Animal Kingdom has this stopped too? I think most other resorts do this but as the all stars and colarado springs are so close they have a separate bus as it not worth the bus to make a detour.
This makes it really tough for so many guests–Disney has promised their guests don’t need a car and will have easy transportation, and then they turn around and cut services. NOT magical, Mickey. I still love Disney, but this kind of stuff coupled with the constant, annual price hikes, is making it more difficult to defend many of their practices.
Just another cost-cutting degradation of the Disney Experience. Poor Walt is probably turning in his grave watching his dream turn into a money-grabbing nightmare.
