Sacha Baron Cohen is reportedly in talks with Disney to join the upcoming “Alice in Wonderland” sequel, “Through the Looking Glass.”
It is being reported that Sacha Baron Cohen will play the villain in the movie. The sequel is said to star Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska, both are from the first movie. Details beyond that are not known at this time.
“Alice in Wonderland” was released in 2010 and was directed by Tim Burton. The movie was a huge hit and made over $1 billion worldwide. The movie went on to get nominated for 3 Academy Awards, it won two for Best Art Direction and Best Costume Design.
Disney has the plot details for “Through the Looking Glass” undercover. The movie is supposed to open on May 27, 2016.
