It’s time to think Spring in Disney World Vacation terms! When planning a vacation, it’s smart to plan at least 6 months out, and that means we are already looking toward March & April!

March starts off with low crowds and gets very busy at the end of the month because of Easter. April continues that busy season for a week due to Spring Break crowds, and then ends with light crowds. Traveling to Disney World during a busier time means you have to be prepared with dining and FastPasses. These are both things I help my clients do, so it’s easier on them. Weather in March, and especially April, is really nice. I suggest still taking a sweatshirt just in case temps drop in the morning and evening.

Why should you contact me SOON to book your March or April trip:

  1. It’s almost time to make Dining Reservations! At 180 days prior to travel, guests can make reservations at their favorite restaurants including character meals, pre-park opening breakfasts, and popular spots such as Be Our Guest or Cinderella’s Royal Table. If you miss this date, you won’t have an easy time finding openings.
  2. Cheap rooms get booked up first. The standard rooms always get filled up quickly, since they are the least expensive. Waiting too close to travel will leave you with slim choices, and only preferred rooms, suites, and higher price level rooms.  Art of Animation, Contemporary and Port Orleans resorts fill up first, and start booking at 500 days out.
  3. It’s almost time to book flights for spring. Airline prices are almost all open for spring, and 4-6 months out is a great time to purchase airfare.
  4. You still have 6 months to pay off your trip. Most people save up for a year or two ahead of their trip, but I suggest having at least 5 months to spread out the payments. I offer payment plans to my clients who want to pay monthly, or whatever is comfortable for them. They have to be paid in full 30 days before travel.
  5. If a discount or promo comes out for your dates and resort, you can still use it even if you are already booked! Taking advantage of discounts is a great way to save money. I always look out for my clients when it comes to getting promotions.  I always give you the same price Disney Travel can, plus customized planning services!
  6. After a long winter you will be glad you have a trip booked for Spring! The Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will be in full bloom and the water parks will be opening up after refurbishment. The weather is nice and hot in Florida in April, but not excruciating heat like  in July.
