The new limited edition runDisney New Balance shoes are here, and they have a retro inspiration for 2015.
Many of us have been waiting for the arrival of the new limited edition 2015 runDisney shoes, and now the wait is over! 2 new shoes have been released and will be available for the first time at the runDisney Health and Fitness Expo for the Walt Disney World Marathon at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
These monochromatic cuties are inspired by the classic nostalgia of Steam Boat Willie. There are 2 styles available of the new 99ov3 New Balance shoes, retro Mickey and retro Minnie. Each style features whimsical music notes along the sole, which sparks memories of Mickey whistling at the Wheel. Each shoe has a classic image on one side of Mickey or Minnie, and the other side is signed with their famous signatures. Of course there’s some hidden Mickeys dancing around the shoe, but I’ll let you find those! The 99ov3 is a very supportive shoe, and is actually my preferred shoe with it’s encap technology.
If you missed the fabulous styles of 2014, there is still hope! A very limited amount of the 86ov4 Sorcerer Mickey and Pink Minnie, as well as the 89ov4 Goofy and Cinderella shoes will also be available due to high demand at the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend, and the Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend taking place at Disneyland January 15-18.
It’s highly suggested to sign up for the New Balance virtual queue at NBvirtualqueue.com to minimize wait times and increase your chances at getting these highly sought after shoes! Runners can sign up starting Wednesday, January 7 with thier bib number, and all other guests can sign up Thursday, January 8, at 6 am. Good luck to all the runners, and happy shoe shopping!
