It’s not even Halloween yet and fans are emailing me asking me for the 2014 Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade Taping Schedule for Walt Disney World. Each year I get insider information for the dates and each year they are pretty spot on. This year is no different.
I have the info from a reliable source that Disney World will be taping their Christmas Day Parade on December 5th – 7th, 2014.
2014 TENTATIVE EVENT ITINERARY
- Friday December 5th, 2014 Morning Practice followed by performance and the taping of the parade.
- Saturday December 6th, 2014 Morning Practice followed by performance and the taping of the parade.
- Sunday December 7th, 2014 is the rain back up day. (Taping could happen as late as 4:00 pm)
Details on who will be at the taping haven’t been released yet, but you know Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade always brings in the biggest names in both Movies & Music!
Remember dates and times are always subject to change. If you are going to be in the Magic Kingdom on those days and want to avoid the crowds just be sure to visit one of the other theme parks between Friday – Sunday. Although if you want to be apart of the event we will have details on how you can be there for the taping in the coming months.

Yes they are. The Disneyland Resort in California filmed its segments in the second week of November.
I am at Magic kingdom right now Dec 6 @ 9am and they ARE taping today!!!! So disappointed we switched days based in This information they would not be taping until Monday!! 🙁 🙁

They aren’t taping ANY portion of the parade this year at Disneyland.
We didn’t know they were filming until we got there. I dint think it required a ticket, we decided to change our plans for the day. I think it’s just a regular ticket.
Oh OK thank you so much do you know what the schedule usually runs like during the parade taping and do you need any special kind of tickets to view the parade. Was it pretty busy last year.
It should be the first full weekend in November. Thats when it was last year…. It was crazy.
